The firm has been recognized with numerous awards, including the national 2018 AIA Architecture Firm Award, the highest honor bestowed on an architecture firm. The award recognizes a practice that consistently has produced distinguished architecture for at least 10 years.

The firm describes its guiding philosophy as follows: “Our studio investigates architecture’s capacity to transform experience. Using restraint and minimal means, we pursue the inspired moments architecture can bring to everyday use.”
